Since opening on November 29th 2014, The Blind Tiger has quickly cemented itself as
Yangon’s most sought out entertainment venue. Livening the up-and-coming downtown
neighbourhood of Yaw Min Gyi in Dagon, The Blind Tiger offers a welcoming experience
unlike any other in Yangon, attracting a cosmopolitan mix of discerning locals, expat regulars,
and visitors.
Impressing with its sumptuous lounge styling, potent bespoke cocktails, tantalizing tapas, and
enigmatic tunes, the newly opened bar-restaurant-art space is the city’s must visit landmark.
Enriching the Blind Tiger’s interior are regular exhibitions by emerging and established artists
from Myanmar and beyond.
Drawing inspiration from the slang term for speakeasy bars that were popular during
American Prohibition in the 1920s and early 30s, the Blind Tiger is a friendly contemporary
speakeasy with a resident mixologist creating signature cocktails with fresh seasonal
concoctions and infused libations. Meanwhile the select menu features enticing tapas with
regional twists and the freshest market ingredients.
The Blind Tiger continues to further its place among Yangon’s growing nightlife scene with
special lunchtime tapas offers (Mon-Fri noon-3pm), daily Tipple Time specials (5-7pm),
featured weekly drink promos, unique events, and much more.
Open Mon-Fri noon – late
Sat & Sun 5pm – late
